About Toyota Apprenticeships
Apprenticeships have helped form the building blocks of our strong skilled-trades base that drives Sci-Fleet today. Learn your trade alongside highly skilled technicians whilst also undertaking training to progressively develop your skills and qualifications.
Each year Sci-Fleet Toyota commence a Certificate III in Automotive program.
The Toyota National Institute provides specialised training in a state of the art training facility where the latest and greatest technology will be provided for your learning.
Core units are also delivered by our training partner ‘TAFE Queensland Skills Tech’.
The remainder of your training will come from on the job training and experience with the assistance of your specifically trained workplace mentor. At Sci-Fleet, we focus strongly on your development, and it doesn’t stop once you have received your trade qualification.
Benefits of Our Program
Traditionally an apprenticeship can extend over a period of up to 4 years, depending on the achievement of the required competencies. However, it is envisaged that with the close guidance of the Workplace Mentor and subsequent fast-tracking of your training, the necessary skills and competency levels can be met to achieve full qualification in 3 years.
What does a technician do?
Our trade has evolved and we are looking for intelligent, technically minded people who have a passion and motivation to continually learn as technology changes.
As an Automotive Technician, you will have the opportunity to problem solve and use the latest technology whilst working as part of a team.
Your sponsored education through ‘TAFE Queensland Skills Tech’, suppliers and internal sources will equip you with the expertise to meet work challenges, reach your potential and contribute to Sci-Fleet Toyota’s future success.
